Blackbird keeps interring a trade multiple times even when profit target is hit. (Resolved)

Not sure if this is a bug or not.  I used a simple momentum indicator strategy (not a bloodhound strategy) to go long or short depending if momentum indicator is above or below zero.  I set a profit target of 10 tics and a stop loss of 10 tics.  When the profit target was hit I thought Blackbird would stop trading but instead it entered another long trade immediately.  It did that every time the profit target was hit multiple times.  Is this normal?  I was in market reply during this test.  I can send all the required files if this is a bug. I only attached the trading chart and bbs file for now.

    Hi Bob,

Q:  When the profit target was hit I thought Blackbird would stop trading but instead it entered another long trade immediately.

A:  Was the momentum indicator above zero when it entered the next long trade?  As long as this statement is true "momentum indicator is above zero", BB should keep entering long trades.  BlackBird should not arbitrarily decide to not place a trade as long as that condition is true.

Thanks for being an active participant.

Yes Zac, that was the case.  The mtm was above zero when it kept entering a trade.  Thanks for your input.  By the way, I tried to enter more than one trade with the manual buttons in replay but can still only enter one trade.  I thought the fix you just did corrected that.  Is that not the case?

Sorry Bob, but as stated in the webinar, version 1 of BB will not scale into a position.  To do that will require major changes to the internal Order Management engine.  We want to get BB's current features stable before tinkering with a critical component such as the Order Management engine.

Zac, do we have to uninstall BlackBird each time you provide an update per your instructions in the webinar? Also, will  the next update to BB be labeled Version 0.1.0.0(Beta 0.2)?
